I am so super excited to see a bunch of you next weekend! I left a comment under Lizzie's last post just so you all know whats up with me for that weekend. If you could all (well those of you who are going) could read that, that would be great.
Anyone have ideas on what to do on Friday afternoon? Where to eat? etc?
I assume Cait knows the low-down for Saturday?
Sunday?
Nothing else too new with me. I'm just looking forward to seeing you all. Tony has made me ansty because he's at Skidmore seeing Erin, Phred, Andy and Dave. I just really need some time with non-pet, non-coworker, non-family type people. :)

I have some bad news. But first I will give you good news.
Any and all homeless people are welcome to crash at my house. I have a large supply of sheets, blankets, and air mattress and a fold-out couch.
Bad News. The Long Island Rail Road will be effectively shut down next weekend. All of the branches even close to my home will not be in service. This may mean being creative, but I think we can do it.
Additionally, on Friday. If we stay in Manhattan, I can hook us up with a place to eat, and many good places to drink. You all know I am a discerning bar patron who both likes to drink without being fondled, or robbed blind by a $13 cocktail. I think I can come through for us. However, if we go to Brooklyn, I cannot protect you from hipster bars - Emily , the new Brooklynite will have to take the lead.
Cait, I knew I could count on you for not having to live in the subway!
And the LIRR being shut down is very odd. What will we do?
